On World Book Day

This is the 21st year there's been a World Book Day, and on 1st March 2018, we were joined by Mickey and Minnie Mouse, who made a surprise guest appearance.

All the children had a chance to meet them, and were very excited.

A BIG Thank you to them both for making the Day extra special !

Little Angels Nursery

at East Tilbury

The children and staff at Little Angels Day Nursery in East Tilbury are celebrating after their recent Ofsted inspection, judged them Outstanding in All areas.

Nursery Manager Charlotte Wheaton along with Deputy Manager Tracey Calleja, have worked extremely hard to raise the standards, and are delighted that their efforts have been recognised by Ofsted.

Little Angels said ‘this achievement has been a team effort, and are very proud of every single member of staff who have embraced the changes we have made.’

The challenge now is to maintain this judgement, and continue to provide a top class experience for all the children that attend the nursery and give them the opportunities to play, learn and achieve great things.’

The full report can be seen on ofsted.gov.uk.

Christmas at Little Angels

Both nurseries had a busy but exciting December 2017. We had Christmas dinner, Christmas nativities and a visit from Santa.

We also had Nicky Trix to entertain us, his modern twist on typical corny childrens enteraintment, left them highly excited.

Nicky is available for childrens parties and can be contacted on 07970 169923 or nickytrix@hotmail.co.uk

We highly recommend

Parents First Aid Workshop
East Tilbury - 27October 2016

Our in-house First Aid Instructor, held our first 'First Aid' workshop for parents at our East Tilbury Nursery during October half term.

The workshop was well attended and covered important areas such as choking and CPR.

The feed back from parents was positive with those who attended saying that this taster course would give them the confidence to enrol on a more intense course in the future.

This hour long Taster course was FREE to all parents/carers whose children attend our nurseries, and due to the success of this course we are already planning further courses in the future.

Pictures below show the parents practicing CPR.
